How to calculate Ascendant / Planet Longitude in Dasamsa (D10)

Longitude = Round of 360 ((Rahi Number in D1-1) *30 + Deg to Add + (Rashi Deg in D1) *10)

Example:

Asc Longitude in D1 = Rashi Gemini, 18°35’40” so this falls in 7 No. Table 1 Column 1 so 7 No row under Gemini is 9 so Sagittarius Ascendant rise in Dasamsa (D10)

Longitude = (3-1)*30+ 0 + (18°35’40”)*10 =60+0+18.5944*10=245.94444

= Sg 5°56’39”
