In most traditional Indian households, the panchanga is consulted daily to know the quality of the day. Panchanga is also used for almost every branch of vedic astrology: natal, muhurta (elechon), prashna (horary), transits, etc. While many regional panchanga are available annually, it is rare to get one that takes into account a longer period.
